California Apostille Service for Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a member of the Apostille Convention and requires original documents to receive an Apostille from the California Secretary of State.

If you live too far for us to meet with you, you can overnight your document(s) to us for processing. Be sure to include our California Apostille order form.  We prefer documents be sent to us by either FedEx, UPS, or USPS Priority Mail.

If you need to meet with a local notary to notarize your document(s), it’s important to remember that as long as the signer speaks the same language as the notary, the document can and should be notarized. You will need to present an acceptable form of ID (Example: Driver’s License, US Passport, DMV Issued Identification, etc..), and your name needs to be on the document in English, and acknowledge that you have signed the document.
