Legalizing documents for Brazil is a two-step process. The first step is to certify your documents with the California Secretary of State. Once complete, your document with then be taken to the Brazilian Consulate General in Los Angeles for the legalization.
Processing Time: The processing time to complete your documents is 2 business days. In some situations, the Brazilian Consulate may request us to return in a couple of days. On average, we have completed documents in two business days. We provide FedEx overnight shipping at no additional charge. The Consulate General of Brazil does not require California documents to be certified by the U.S. Department of State.
