US Department of State Apostille

The US Department of State authenticates both Federal and State documents for use in a country who is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention.  A country who is not a member of the Hague Apostille convention will receive a Certification.  You can view a list of Hague Apostille Member Countries here.

If your documents are issued by one of the Federal Government agencies, your documents must have an officials signature with a raised and/ or stamped seal.
