California Apostille Service for Israel

Do you need a California Apostille for documents being sent to Israel? We provide same-day professional Apostille service to residents and businesses in California.

Israel is a member of the Apostille Convention and requires original documents to receive an Apostille from the California Secretary of State in Los Angeles prior to being sent to the Consulate General of Israel in Los Angeles.

Common documents we receive are: Birth Certificates, Death Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Divorce Decree from the California Superior Court, Power of Attorney, and Affidavits. In order for these documents to receive an Apostille, they must be the original and issued from the State of California.

The California Secretary of State will need to authenticate signatures on legal documents before they are sent to Israel.

We have years of experience notarizing, authenticating, and certifying documents for Israel. If you live in Los Angeles county, we offer complimentary notary service including picking-up and dropping-off your documents. Documents which require a notary are generally power of attorney, affidavit, school transcript, and copy of a passport.  If you live too far us to meet with you, you can overnight your document(s) to us for processing.

For documents received by 10:30 a.m., we guarantee the document(s) will be completed in 1-2 business days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and major holidays). We’ll return your document(s) via FedEx next day service at no additional cost to any address within the United States.

If you need to meet with a local notary to notarize your document(s), it’s important to remember that as long as the signer speaks the same language as the notary, the document can and should be notarized. You will need to present an acceptable form of ID (Example: Driver’s License, US Passport, etc..), your name needs to be on the document in English, and acknowledge that you have signed the document.

Please keep in mind that a notary cannot refuse to notarize your document if it’s written in another language. Please call us at 1-888-810-4054 or 1-310-876-8489 to speak with a California Apostille service agent about sending your document(s) to Israel.
